LudeQR is a free, no-account tool for generating QR codes. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.
The short version
We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of your data on our servers. LudeQR has no backend. Everything you type, whether a link, text, wifi password, or contact details, stays entirely inside your web browser on your device.
Nothing is saved, even locally
Unlike some tools, LudeQR does not save drafts. Whatever you type exists only in memory while the page is open. Refresh or close the tab and it is gone. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or any other on-device storage to remember what you entered.
What we do not collect
- No account creation, no email, no password.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers.
- No advertising cookies or marketing identifiers.
- No server logs of the links, text, or contact details you turn into a QR code.
Cookies
LudeQR does not set any cookies.
Logos you upload
If you add a center logo, the image is read directly by your browser and drawn onto the QR code on your device. It is never uploaded to a server, never leaves your browser, and is discarded the moment you close or refresh the page.
Third-party resources
None. The typefaces used on this site are bundled and served from this site's own domain. The app makes no requests to third-party CDNs or font services.
The site itself is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure (like any web host) receives standard HTTP request metadata such as your IP address when pages and assets are served, governed by Vercel's privacy policy. The content of the QR codes you generate is never part of those requests, since generation happens entirely in your browser after the page has loaded. Vercel, our hosting provider, may briefly process request logs outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Downloads
When you download a PNG or SVG, the file is generated entirely inside your browser and saved directly to your device. It is not uploaded to or processed by any server.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights over personal data, including access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection. Because LudeQR does not collect or store personal data, there is normally nothing for us to act on. You can always write to contact@ludehq.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (Cyprus).
Children
LudeQR is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, since we do not collect data at all.

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
