By using LudeQR (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
LudeQR is a free, browser-based tool for generating QR codes from links, text, wifi details, or contact cards. It is provided by LudeHQ.
Free use
The Service is offered free of charge for personal and commercial use. There is no account, no subscription, no usage limit. You may use the QR codes you generate for any lawful purpose.
Your content
You retain full ownership of the links, text, and contact details you enter, and of the QR codes you generate. Because the Service has no backend, we never receive, store, or have access to your content. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you encode, and of where the resulting QR code sends people.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate QR codes that lead to fraudulent, misleading, phishing, or malicious destinations.
- Distribute malware or content that violates the rights of others.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Violate any applicable law.
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that every QR code generated will scan correctly on every device or scanner app. Test your code before printing or publishing it anywhere important.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LudeHQ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, printing costs, or a QR code that failed to scan as expected.
No data retention
Because nothing you type is stored, on our servers or in your browser, there is nothing for us to back up or restore. If you need to keep a QR code, download it before closing the tab.
Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
Intellectual property
The LudeQR name, logo, and design system are property of LudeHQ. The QR codes you generate are yours. The application source code is proprietary to LudeHQ.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict of law principles.
